50% off retail therapy

Today when my sister Debbie came home she was all excited and asking me to visit this new shop in town called Mirrou, located next to Adidas on Broadway, opposite 277 Westfield in New Market. They opened this Wednesday and had 50% off storewide. SOLD. I dropped my design work and bolted out the door with the girls.

The shop was very well presented, but unfortunately messed up by a lot of the customers coming and going. The prices ranged at $9.95 - $45 NZD full price. The QUALITY and prices were reminiscent of Valley Girl's, which stood in the same shop location 2 years ago. However in terms of style, it definitely surpasses VG. The 50% off storewide brought many girls and women and the changing rooms unfortunately did not cater to the crowd, but I expect the numbers will decrease when the sale passes. Another downside is that since the shop is fairly new, they only had 1 mirror between 6-8 changing rooms. Hopefully they'll install 1 for each individual changing room later on..

50% off Sale ends 3rd November, Sunday!!  But get in quick before everything is snapped up by the mobs.

VERDICT: 
Mirrou has a broad range of pastel lights, monochromes and patterns for the coming hot weather, as well as beach wear for the approaching Summer. Definitely the go-to for cheap basics and quick wardrobe fixes and layers.

Also, yesterday was the annual Armageddon con held at the ASB showgrounds and goes on between Fri-Mon on every Labour weekend. Will post about that later when I get the photos!
